Our Cubs are Awesome….
Under the Leadership of Tracey, Brian, Vicki & Sarah our awesome Cubs went to the Tonbridge District adventure day at the fabulous Broadstone Warren Activities Centre set in 350 acres of Ashdown forest. The day started out at 9am with an adventure down the extensive pothole system running under the site, head torches glowing the young Cubs crawled off into the darkness… they all came back luckily. More adventures, onto the high and low rope systems, followed by a bit of Archery to hit those bullseyes.
The mighty tower was next on the agenda, standing at over 20mtrs the Cubs climbed up one side and abseiled down the other, some were nervous, some scared but all beat their fears and had a go. Well done Cubs. There were many other activities including inflatable castles and real life table football.
Thank you to our Cub leadership team and Tonbridge Scouts for organising the event, the Cubs are sure to be back to Broadstone Warren in the Spring for more adventures.
